Terms for Reservation: The reservation deposit is nonrefundable. Chartered Rentals LLC reserves the right to cancel rentals when ice conditions/weather not permitting. Lessee shall be credited deposit towards future rental when weather is not permitting. Chartered Rentals LLC determines when a cancelations are permitted. When lessee cancels the reservation deposit is retained by Chartered Rentals LLC and can be applied towards a future rental. Chartered Rentals LLC shall retain damage deposits when trailer is damaged.

We make no warranties, express, implied or apparent, regarding the trailer, no warranty or merchantability and no warranty that the trailer is fit for a particular purpose. While the trailer is being towed behind your vehicle, you assume all liability. If the trailer is damaged behind your vehicle you agree to pay for all damages incurred not covered by your vehicles insurance. We do not provide liability insurance coverage on the trailer. You agree to provide liability insurance coverage on the vehicle through the insurance policy that covers your towing vehicle. You release us from all liability for consequential, special or punitive damages in connection with this rental.

You are responsible for all damage to, or loss or theft of the trailer, whether or not you are at fault. Your responsibility includes the cost of repair or the actual retail value of the trailer if it is not repairable or if we elect not to repair it. You will pay us for loss of use, diminished value and reasonable charge to cover our administrative expenses connected with a damage claim. You agree not to allow anyone else to tow the trailer besides you.
We may use your deposit to pay all monies owed to us under this agreement. You must return the vehicle to our rental office or other location we specify on the date and tie specified in this agreement and in the same condition that you received it except for ordinary wear. If the trailer is returned dirty a $100 cleaning charge will be taken out of the deposit. No smoking in the trailer. No pets in the trailer. We will keep the damage deposit until we inspect it for damages. Any damage found will be taken out of the deposit. The damage deposit will be mailed to the address listed above. If held on credit card it will be released upon successful inspection within 7-10 days. Lessee shall fill propane tanks prior return of the rental.
